Overall the room is quiet, outstanding and includes a safe box, central heating and coffee/tea making equipment. It has very friendly and diligent staff and boasts WORTH EVERY PENNY views of mountain. It offers friendly service. What is useful, free Wi-Fi was provided throughout the property.

The pillows are too soft and weak and we told Christina that they could benefit from an upgrade !

I stayed for 2 nights in a Superior Double Room with an amazing view of the Eiger and a cozy balcony. The breakfast was great with lots of choices, and the super nice team. Free parking was a great perk, and the location was perfect for exploring. Definitely recommend!

Fabulous location on the outskirts of Grindelwald. It is well worth to book the rooms with a balcony which have a view of the Eiger mountain - spectacular! Hotel was happy to pick us up and return us to the railway station - very friendly staff.

I wasn't aware beforehand that the hotel didn't have a restaurant anymore. It is about a 10-15 minute walk to the centre where there is a large selection of restaurant options.

Everything was very good, however we stayed for 3 nights only. The breakfast was plentiful with a view to the glaciar, with lots of food.

It is a good location near to town, far enough away to be quiet, great views. Balcony a little austere.The accomodation ittself was very good, the appartment. It was very spacious with very good facilities.

The room had issues with cigarette smoke permeating the air. The toilets continuously ran throughout the night, and the overall state of the hotel seemed in need of significant updates. The misleading description of the "mountain view" made expectations a bit dubious upon arrival.

It was well placed and everything was nice and clean. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The bedrooms are nice and light and very poretty with its paintings.

Limited amenities in the room, such as absence of fridges. Weak Wi-Fi connectivity is frustrating, especially when trying to plan activities!!!

Wonderful views of the Eiger and Jungfrau from our bedroom balcony - just what we had come for. Being in the town centre meant no driving as it had its own large car park. Provided an excellent base from which to walk and explore the area.

We had a quite and peaceful first night on arrival. However, on the second night our sleep was badly disturbed by the noisy departure of a large party of Japanese tourists, starting from 3.30 am until about 5am. The tour bus was started up almost an hour before they left, and the noise was unbearable. Perhaps you could remind such hotel managements to make other guests aware of such noise and disturbance beforehand and also ask them to insist that tour parties leave more quietly.

The rooms were great and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The location was great...within walking distance of everything and a bus stop within 10 yards. Breakfast was pretty simple, (no hot items). If you plan to ski at First, you can ski back to the hotel at the end of the day!! (Recommend taking the bus to the slopes at the beginning of the day). Wifi Internet was great!
